WELCOME!

We are a group of golfers that love the game for its integrity and the friendships formed that extend past the 18th green.

While the men’s group plays a game referred to as “The Dog Fight” on Saturday mornings, activities include spouses and significant others.  Friday night gatherings at the Summer Grove Club to kick off the weekend and Sunday afternoon rounds with spouses and significant others provide a wonderful weekend wind down.  We purposely use a modified shotgun start on Saturday to allow for our group to gather after the round for stories, awards, beverages and lunch.  It is not uncommon for spouses to join the group after the round on Saturday.

The group is committed to having fun while raising money for those in need.  Recent fund raising activities included donations to a deceased green keeper’s family; two women we love dearly facing cancer and The PruittCares Foundation that provides counseling to children who recently experienced the death of a loved one.

The group welcomes like-minded people that believe a “walk in the park” is more than just chasing a little white ball.  Golf is an opportunity to create a community of friends dedicated to what the game stands for and to provide for others in need.
